Since
our firm’s inception in 1925, many technological advances have been
added to the practice of engineering, environmental
science, and surveying. Volkert emphasizes the importance of
professional training in order to keep pace with these advances and
provide our employees with the tools to do the job right. Quality

continue to practice the traditional techniques that create successful
projects and satisfied clients—communication at all levels,

Mr. King is a graduate of
Auburn University with a degree in civil engineering. He joined
Volkert in 1960, was elected President and CEO in 1983, and now serves as
